Our recreation parks on the shores of Lake Veluwe, Veluwemeer, (Recreation Park De Hooghe Bijsschel and Recreation Park Flevostrand) and Lake Brielle, Brielsemeer, (Recreation Park Kruininger Gors) are the tops for lovers of sailing, wind surfing and swimming. The south (Veluwe-side) shore of Lake Veluwe is shallow and perfect for families with young children! Lake Brielle is also a very good diving location. The hinterland, the Veluwe and Voornes Duin respectively, is not to be sneezed at either! The hottest place for those who are looking for lots and lots of water fun is certainly Recreation Park Bosbad Hoeven with Water-Playpark ‘Splesj’ in the woods.

'De Hooghe Bijsschel', Nunspeet, on the south shore of Lake Veluwe

'Flevostrand', Biddinghuizen, on the north shore of Lake Veluwe
‘Flevostrand’ lies immediately behind the reedy border of Lake Veluwe with a camping site on the beach and a camping site on the landside of the dike. 'Kruininger Gors', Oostvoorne, province of South-Holland
Though ‘Kruiniger Gors’ is situated on the shore and nice beach of Lake Brielle (Brielsemeer), it is only a very short distance from the sea, too! The park has short-term, seasonal and all-year pitches, hiker’s cabins and, among other things, a playground, deer park, shops, snack bar, wireless Internet access and children’s entertainment. The park is a magnet for holidaymakers because of the diversity of water sports, the short distance to the sea, Voornes Duin and the nearby towns of Brielle and Hellevoetsluis.
