Molecaten has recreation parks in the woods of the Veluwe (the range of low hills formed by a lateral moraine), Recreation Park Molecaten Estate and Recreation Park De Leemkule, and on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug (a range of hills in the province of Utrecht), Recreation Park Ginkelduin Estate. 'De Leemkule', Hattem, Veluwe
