The water in all the big baths is 34 to 37 degrees Celcius, which is a lovely, comfortable temperature that is hot enough to sweat out all the stress and cool enough for a good swim.

Angling

• Lakes Tisza and Velence are favourite casts for Hungarian anglers. You need a permit, which can usually be obtained at the local angling sports shop and/or angling clubs.
