Zeeland Flanders (the most southerly part of the province of Zeeland) stands for culture and tradition in ancient villages, exuberant conviviality and most of all for sea and beach fun! Who would not like lazing the day away in one of the many beach cafés, flying kites on the beach, running in the dunes or taking a refreshing dip in the sea? Zeeland is a wonderful holiday destination for people who enjoy physical activities, sampling culture (not only things typically Zeeland, but also the mediaeval Belgian towns of Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp!) or making trips with the kids.   

Zeeland Flanders is the perfect place for nature lovers. The dikes lined with great trees, the hidden creeks, the endless country lanes with old pollard willows and the authentic landscape of forts and dunes are a feast for the eye. ‘Het Zwin’ and the submerged ‘Zwartepolder’ are very beautiful nature reserves.

Zeeland Flanders is also great for ‘fun shoppers’. In July and August, there are late night markets and fairs in the various seaside resorts and market towns and you can also spend a day shopping in the nearby Belgian towns of Bruges, Ghent or Knokke!
