Molecaten Recreation Park Flevostrand has a modern marina at Lake Veluwe. Because of its perfect location, at Lake Veluwe and adjacent to (lake) Wolderwijd, it is ideally situated for recreational sailing on the ‘Randmeren’, the string of linked lakes - to which Lake Veluwe and Wolderwijd also belong - between the reclaimed ‘new’ land and the mainland. You can make a shortcut to ‘Markermeer’ (Lake Marken) by passing through the lock next to pumping-station Lovink, which is only a couple of miles from the marina.

Flevostrand Marina is a modern marina with some 850 berths for smaller yachts and cruisers as well as yachts with a length of up to 20 metres and a draught of 2 metres. There is ample room for your catamaran on the catamaran beach. Jet-skis and water scooters are refused entry to Flevostrand Marina.

Facilities

Our marina at Lake Veluwe provides all kinds of facilities; all berths are equipped with electricity, it has a new sanitary building with showers, children’s sanitary facilities, launderette etc. The marina also has a fuel station, trailer slip, boat hoist, out-of-water-storage and a marine technical department for maintenance and repair. A supermarket, where you can get nice fresh rolls, and a launderette are within walking distance. 

Do you not own a boat?

Even if you do not own a boat, you can still spend a day boating on Lake Veluwe! We hire out cruisers, types Polyvalk and TopCat 18, at Molecaten Recreation Park Flevostrand, on the north shore of Lake Veluwe. When holidaying, it is lovely to spend a day on the water of Lake Veluwe. We are sure that at the end of your holiday you have become an aquatic maniac!
