‘De Hooghe Bijsschel’ is actually set on the south shore of Lake Veluwe, which makes it a splendid location for sailing and surfing straight from the camping site onto Lake Veluwe.

There is an aquadrome on the sandy beach of ‘De Hooghe Bijsschel’. During the summer holidays, on Ascension Day and at Whitsuntide there are free aquatic sport introduction mornings for children from 4 up to the age of 12.

Of course, adults can also do sailing, catamaran or wind-surfing courses. For further information and course fees, please inquire at the reception desk of the aquadrome. It is also possible to hire a boat and have a never-to-be-forgotten day on the water. Yachts, catamarans, Optimist sailing dinghies or canoes… we hire them out. Everyone becomes an aquatic maniac at ‘De Hooghe Bijsschel’!
